GREAT info/Tips about your cell phone!

I recieved this in an e-mail and havent gotten to try the info out but its interesting enough to pass along!

5 Things You Never Knew Your Cell Phone Could Do
For all the folks with cell phones. (This should be printed and kept in your car, purse, and wallet. Good information to have with you.)

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survi val. Check out the things that you can do with it:

FIRST- Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find Yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an Emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to Establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly, this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

SECOND
Have you locked your keys in the car? Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys
In the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cellphone about a foot From your car door and have the person at your home press the unlockbutton, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can
reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors
(or the trunk).

Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked Our car over a cell phone!'

THIRD
Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370#. Your cell phone will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell phone next time.

FOURTH
How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following Digits on your phone: *#06#. A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know
that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

FIFTH
Free Directory Service for Cells
Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem. When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial: (800)FREE411, or (800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all. Program this into your cell phone now. This is the kind of information people don't mind receiving, so pass it on to your family and friends

This is a HOOT!

Jeremy sent this too me and I thought it was too cute to keep to myself!

WHY GOVERNMENT SCHOOL IS BETTER THAN HOME SCHOOL
Most parents were educated in the under-funded public school system, and so
are not smart enough to home-school their own children.

Children who receive one-on-one home-schooling will learn more than others,
giving them an unfair advantage in the marketplace. This is undemocratic.

How can children learn to defend themselves unless they have to fight off
bullies on a daily basis?

Ridicule from other children is important to the socialization process.

Children in public schools can get more practice “Just Saying No” to drugs,
cigarettes and alcohol.

Fluorescent lighting may have significant health benefits.

Publicly asking permission to go to the bathroom teaches young people their
place in society.

The fashion industry depends upon the peer pressure that only public schools
can generate.

Public schools foster cultural literacy, passing on important traditions
like the singing of “Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg…”

Home-schooled children may not learn important office career skills, like
how to sit still for six hours straight.

WHAT was I thinking

Last week Caleb was not enjoying his dinner so I thought I'd just give it to him and see what happened. It sure was fun to watch until it came time to clean up...I took him straight from the chair to the tub. I took plenty of pics to help you all watch the even unfold and I will try to get some video up on youtube soon! Enjoy!

Leave your guess in a comment BUT dont look at the other comments until you've made your guess. Come on, Honor system here! Goooooood luck!

PS- Jeremy wanted to know why there were two WOs in the picture? HA! Bobby looked too much like WO for him to tell the difference.

Cat in the....

Now I've heard of Cat in the Hat but I've never heard of Cat in the Tree. Today I noticed an orange thing in the tree out front. I assumed it was a bag of some sort that had blown into the tree. But upon further investigation I found the orange blob to be a cat resting on one of the branches in the tree. Strange. I took pics b/c I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it myself. And for this I am most thankful for digital photography because this is something I would have never wasted film on!

Ewwwww Ahhhhhh Ohhhhhh

Um okay, if anyone you really know Jeremy and I...whats the first think we look for when we travel south...... S-O-N-I-C!!! We love our cherry limeaides!!! We were grocery shopping last night and a bottle of Limeaide caught our attention and we thought why not give it a try to make our own. So we bought the bottle of limeaide, picked up some Twist Up and looked all over til we found the grenadine. For lunch I decided to mix up a concoction. MAN! its so close if you closed your eyes you might not know the difference! Well for someone who lives in the north and doesn't get her weekly allowance of Cherry Limeaides it sure is close. I took a picture to capture the moment!

I am back!

Apparently while I was gone Google decided that my site was a spam blog site so they blocked me from making posts... Hummmmm oh well I am pack and have so updates to share. Right before we left I noticed Caleb cutting two more teeth on the bottom! While we were gone to WY I saw two more just under the surface on top! Can you believe it, soon he will have EIGHT teeth :) Jeremy says he looks bigger since we've been gone and when I looked at him on the plane while he was sleeping I could tell his face looked thinner which usually happens when he grows in height. I also cant believe we are staring to plan his FIRST birthday party! Mark your Calendars for April 19th! Since his birthday is actually on a Wednesday we will have to wait until Sat to have his party. But we looked at cakes yesterday and I have been on party planning sites and have some cool ideas going on my head! I cant wait! I will leave you with a few photos to brighten your day!.
